Standup shows Comedy magic If a larger version of this show is required, David can perform the trick while the lemon is still attached to a tree. (Extra charge for this show.) (Appropriate for audiences from 10 to 1,000 and more). The Shakespeare of Magic The mindreading show Walkaround or strolling magic “I can’t believe it!” many people say when seeing David’s closeup walkaround magic. “It happened right in my hands!” Walkaround or strolling closeup magic is performed within a foot or two of the volunteers, and often in the volunteers’ hands. David uses coins, playing cards, rope, business cards, and other common objects. (Appropriate for performance to small groups of 1 to 10 at cocktail parties, hospitality suites, holiday parties, and the like. As the name implies, David strolls from group to group, spending a few minutes with each small crowd.) Parlour magic If you have a smaller group, ranging from 30 to 60, David has a show for you, too. This show utilizes objects that can be seen at a medium distance, but not the small objects used in closeup magic such as cards and coins. (Appropriate for performance to groups of 30 to 60, such as department meetings, small office parties, and the like.) Emcee skills If you want a distinguished and funny emcee, turn to David. He’s experienced at emceeing, because for 18 months in 2003 – 2004, David produced, emceed, and performed in his own weekly magic showcase called Magic in the 'Burbs in San Dimas and Santa Anita. His emcee skills are still talked about in magic circles. |
